Thank you for all your efforts to serve the truth. I wish you a lot of strenghts for the days to come.
Even in The Netherlands I was looking forward to reading your blog, because it would serve to get the America back I used to love.
I would also like to thank you for your time and effort in bringing the truth to light, whatever it is. I am sorry to hear of your loss, and wish you peace and strength in the days ahead.
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.
We'll all be thinking of you.
We'll all miss your thorough updates and thoughtful posts. Come back when you're ready, and our sympathy in the meantime. all the best from your readers.
The White House has denied that it is a bullet proof vest. If it were, I think they would gladly admit that at this point.
I'm sorry to hear that. Our sympathies.
You've done a great job. I check the site every morning to see if there are any updates...All the best to you in this hard time.
So sorry about your news. Sincere thanks for your diligence... hopefully this scandal will receive the attention in the press it deserves. If our president was cheating, we demand the right to know.
First off, my sincerest condolences and best wishes during this sad time. I also send my prayers for
comfort to all your friends and family at this time of loss. I appreciated your site a great deal and linked to it. We all appreciate your dedication and I will
continue to check the site for the updates when you
get the chance to do them, but I have lost family members and the time for healing must come first.

BUSH IS WIRED, and there’s archived video of the last debate where voices can clearly be heard. Video of the debate is on the website of Seattle station, KING5. You will have to register to access most stuff beyond the home page, but I'd just use a junk Hotmail or Yahoo account as the e-mail as you'll get a LOT of spam when you do register.
Go to www.king5.com, click on "Decision 2004" on the left menu bar, or go directly to:
http://www.king5.com/news/specials/politics/
Middle of the page, about 2/3 of the way down, look for the link "Final presidential debate", or go here:
http://www.king5.com/sharedcontent/washington/politics_video/101304ccktpolVidDebate.2ce78bc0.html
Now click on "part one" and the video of the debate will launch.
The direct link to the video page is here - although it probably won't work directly unless an online account is created:

The question of “Economic security” starts at 10:15 with the question to Senator Kerry. Bush’s reply comes in at 12:48, with the statement, “Well his rhetoric doesn’t match his record”
Starting at about 13:00 to 14:00 when Bush starts spouting facts, PAY ATTENTION TO THE BACKGROUND NOISE. You can clearly hear a voice and if you listen closely, you can hear Bush pause as the voice states these facts via, of course, the wired box into his ear.
I heard this on a work PC with a pretty decent processor (P4 – 1.2 GHz), good sound card, and using iPod earbud type headphones. I’d think headphones are required to hear the sound correctly – or good speakers. Now I’m the first to debunk any of these “conspiracy” theories, but there is the sound, clear as day… and it’s not just on a Seattle station but other video feeds / archives as well. I think if enough people get together and extract these sounds the blog community can overshadow the Bush Administration’s cover up of this. I mean, my God, he can’t even answer a simple debate question without a wired feed, how’s he going to run this country???
This video feed comes from station KGW, in Portland, Ore, and once you create an account on Seattle’s KING5.com, you can access the other stations with the same username (e-mail) and password (listed below). These have not been checked for the video link due to time constraints, but I am sure they are there.

Michael Moore FINALLY mentions the BULGE:
"At one point," Moore said, "Bush said, `Let me finish,' even though nobody had interrupted him and he had plenty of time left. What was that? An earpiece? I thought there were voices in his head."
"Did you see Bush, in one debate, drinking from an empty water glass?" he asked. "He saw it was empty, but he just kept drinking it. Did he think, `Well, the American people have fallen for everything else the last four years. America, there's water in this glass. There's weapons of mass destruction in this glass.'"

First I am wish to express my condolences for your loss. Second, I hate to break this to you but obviously no one told you that some concealed body armour fastens in the back. This is to insure that there is no seam in the front or to the sides of the wearer. The Flaps can be from 2-4 inches wide and be of various lengths up to one continuous seam.

i am getting very frustrated hearing people say that bush could not have been wired in the first debate because he did so poorly. on the contrary - talking and listening at the same time is *very difficult*. i'm sure that everyone has had the experience where they are talking on the phone while the person standing next to them is telling them what to say. it's very difficult. i usually stop talking, cover the mouthpiece, and say "shut the f*ck up", but in a more formal setting i would probably say something like . . . oh . . . maybe . . . "let me finish" ;-)
Keep those comments coming everyone... we are still working on this!
I also send my condolences to you Chris - you have been doing great work.
Bush has clearly used an earpiece for helping him speak in the past. In the press conference with Chirac http://philbrittin.com/news/news.php the voice preceding Bush’s says, says “I look forward to working with President Chirac” while Bush repeats, “I look working...look forward to working with President Chirac.” This proves it was not some sort of technical echo. So, Bush has used an audio prompter in the past. Not a problem for a speech but it is a problem for a debate. It’s called cheating not to mention what it says about his competency! By the way, maybe Bush’s poor performance in the first debate was due to a malfunction of the audio (static?). That might explain his scowling!
By the way, someone said CNN did a piece on this Saturday - anybody have info on that?
New Bush 9/11 Commission video of high video quality and large viewing size. Eay to see bulge. Just replay repeatily and it stands out. Also some additional snapshots from that video.
At this URL:http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2004/10/299251.shtml#145364
I am sure Chris will be adding them to this site soon.

First of all, I'm sorry to hear of the loss in your family.
Secondly, all you liberal, Bush-bashing Democrats may as well give up all this nonsense. If this is a Security issue, any information would be CLASSIFIED. That's probably why you haven't got a straight response from the Authorities. If anything of that nature is exposed, it could undermine the security of this President and any future president. That's why the mainstream media won't touch this (non)"story".
About the distant cousins of Bush having a Pro-Kerry Site. I read that Kerry, himself, is also a distant cousin of Bush. It makes perfect sense for some of Bush's distant family to support Kerry. This has nothing to do with the "BushWired" story.
I am thrilled that you are back at it! This site is key to keeping this awful but vitally-important story alive...Three cheers!

Welcome, back.
Hope things are as good as can be expected. Keep up the good work, but look closely at what you post. There's not a lot of time left to convince the reluctant press. Anything that's a stretch harms the greater effort.
I mentioned this previously, but I think we should be careful using the Chirac video as evidence. If you speak any French you'll notice that the voice of Chirac's (female) translator also appears BEFORE his voice on the feed. So I think it may be some sort of time-delay mess-up for closed captioning, as discussed a while ago on isbushwired.com . I am quite convinced that there's something fishy going on with Bush and his bulge, but I would be careful using the Chirac video as evidence.
Welcome back Chris.... you're in at the right moment! President Bush telling at ABC the bulge was a wrinkle in his poorly tailored shirt, while his tailor was talking about a wrinkle in the jacket. But as I can see it from the Netherlands the bulge was there in all of the debates and on more occasions the president is having a bulge. For me the most plausible explanation is the medical device, in combination with the president not having his annual medical check in August.
Didn't the president also fail to pass a medical test when being a pilot in the National Guard?
Well, this is just an opinion from The Netherlands, knowing very well that having an presidential election with an underinformed citizenry is a key weakness in a democracy. And this last remark was not only referring to the bulge. On Dutch TV I watched last Sunday the documentary about Fox News, Outfoxed, and I was more than shocked, so much purely right-wing, agressive and manipulative propaganda under the label 'fair and objective'. No wonder that at the moment some 60% of the Republican voters still believe what propaganda still tells them that there are/were WMD's in Iraq and that Saddam Hussein had existing links with Al Qai'da. This very clearly shows that Karl Rove learned his lessons from the Nazi Propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels, who believed that if you tell a big lie all the time, the majority of the people will believe you. For me it is just unbelievable what has been happening in the USA during the Bush administration, and that the media in this country are not fulfilling their first objective: finding the truth, cause the truth never can be partisan!
I agree we need to take care with what is posted. Unfortunately, the neo-cons will do ANYTHING to maintain power with Bush as their puppet. Posting nonsense to make those who are asking the reasonable question, "What is the object on Bush's back?" look ridiculous would be a piece of cake for them. So we should question all postings (including this one!). I also was skeptical about the Chirac press conference for the reasons others have mentioned, but I still wonder about the wording of the voice that said, "I'm looking forward to working.." while Bush said, "I'm working....looking forward to working.." How is that possibly an echo?

Someone should make one jpg image containg the following elements, roughly:
- Two screenshots showing the bulge
- The basic facts (short, in small print)
- W's own explanation
- A short statement explaining that the national media will not take this seriously, and asking why
- Perhaps a statement that says: "if he lied, he will lose the election", that is why this is important
- asking every person who sees this to send this to as many people as possible.
Professional layout. Serious, not satirical. For the e-mail users of the world, more than the media people. Asking the reader to help raise this important question. Getting it to a few million people the next days should make a difference. yours, HM

What pictures are you suggesting to include in the single picture for email? If you are not talking about the 9/11 one you have nothing new to send out. Please expand on your thoughts.
Thanks
Welcome back. You should add this pic from isbushwired.com. The bulge is really clear:

Bush seems to have Compensatory Sweating - Possibly had a surgery or injury to the Sympathetic Nervous System. SOOOO The buldge may be a cooling device.
I saw the Charlie Gibson GMA interview Part II Tuesday am, 10/26, in which Gibson's final question held up two glossy 8x10-ish photos of bulge on back, first debate and asked him point blank what is this? W. had his pasted on smile left over from debate 3 on most of the time. He shrugged it off as the badly tailored shirt and seemed to heh-heh his way out of it. I think he first made some joke about Karen Hughes and others speaking to him through a receiver, but I cannot stand by this. It was over very quickly.
More interesting was that the interview had been cross cutting between shots of W. and Gibson holding photos during this, but the interview had started with a wider room shot of Laura and W. sitting on the couch together (even answering some questions directed to him). The last shot of the interview cut back to this wider shot and Laura was absent. Bush sat there and next to him, an empty couch cushion. It was a hoot: we laughed out loud. Had she been zapped out of existence? Clearly there had been major editing done to the sequence and it became glaringly evident that whatever they kept was much later, after either Laura excused her self, or was dismissed, or let off her leash, or got disgusted with the whole line of questioning. It looked so OBVIOUS that the sequence was off, it makes you wonder, what kind of handling is being done that is not so blatant??
PS Doonsbury has been running strips this week on the BULGE.
I agree with anonymous - an email campaign is in order. I am amazed at how many (usually well-informed) friends do not know about this or shrug it off as internet nonsense because they haven't seen all the pictures. If someone would put together a nice piece, we can email it all over the country and ask friends to forward it. This actually may get the bulge additional news response if it's big enough.
Lalinda
My suggestion was to make a large jpg graphic that gives a brief overview of the bulge case. (some text + bulge screenshots). In effect a single "official" statement that all people concerned with this could spread to email users around the globe. It will contain nothing "new" for insiders, but will present the case and the issues involved for all those not yet sure what this is about. If done right, it could reach millions of people in a few days. And that might even make it a news story by itself.
yours, HM
The lump on bush's back was very noticeable in the debate. If he can't put a sentence together by himself, then he would need help. Even when he's out campagning he can't talk without pages of notes in front of him..........I think the problem is called STUPID,,,,
Too many years on booze and now even pot. Not my store it was on the news.........
