Small update of news stories on the BULGE
An interesting piece from Saudi Arabia (the Author is obviously no fan of Bush)
Another article out of the Philippines
A very interesting opinion piece "Take Me Out to the Bulge Game":
Another BULGE STORY
A skeptic weighs in
On CNNs crossfire Jon Stewart of the Daily Show was asked what he thought the BULGE was. Oddly, he didn't seem to know about it. The question was then answered for him by the Crossfire guys... they said it was ridiculous, as in, the bulge didn't exist and the wire theory was immediately dismissed as impossible. I think they should check out today's Salon article (below).
Keep 'em coming... Thanks!
I know there are more BULGE PICTURES out there someplace... if anyone finds a some more please send 'em my way! Submissions to: c.shaw@mac.com

I do not put it past Bush to wire himself for the debates. But didn't Kerry pat him on the back, right where the bulge was?
Does anyone know what Kerry has to say?
You're right that Jon Stewart did seem to not know what the questioner was talking about, but I would be enormously surprised if he hadn't heard of this, and I think he may have been intentionally feigning ignorance as part of the larger point he was making very seriously for the entire show, about what the media focuses on. He also refused comment on O'Reilly's sex scandal and another question he thought was not worth the time. Personally, I think this story is on another level. If it is true Bush was wearing a wire in the debate(s), it isn't just scandal and sensationalism, it should be huge news. So far it is just speculation with no hard proof. But he is obviously wearing something at different times, and it is a question worth asking, even if it is a medical device (and perhaps even more so) or something else.
