Debate 3 aftermath

I am moving the live comments from the debate into the comments section below.

I didn't see any super-conclusive evidence of a bulge, perhaps something in Bush's left brest pocket area.

I loved how Kerry did a little pat-down on Bush at the end!

Reports coming in about a Bulge sighting on Bush's back at the end. Ok everyone rewind the VCR and start the analysis, send screenshots to me via the ABOUT ME section.

I'm reviewing the tape of debate 3 for the Bulge, reports from all over of a BULGE sighting at the end... STAY TUNED!

It seems as though Mr. Bush thinks all the questions require some humor, and everything is some sort of joke.
And oddly, the networks have COMPLETELY avoided anything but facial shots of the candidates, I wonder about that.........

Yeah, CSPAN had slit screens for the longest time but not anymore. It was interesting to see Bush sipping away on his glass or water and his reactions. Right on with Bush's need for humour....this is serious and it's not comming off well. I'll keep an eye out for any bulges....not too many body shots at all...

It is amazing to watch the president's eyes wander when listening to questions or to Kerry's words. I argue that one cannot intently listen to someone while letting their eyes wander. The president is not listening to the moderator or Kerry.

Moderator: 2+2=??
Bush: We need better education!

JUST saw the bulge on Bush's back about 1-2 minute after final statements. Hope others caught that also

THE LIVE DEBATE COMMENTARY HAS MOVED BELOW

The first full shot of Bush's back... seems like the tailor did a better job this time... waiting for Bush to bend over!

I almost died laughing when Kerry said Bush has "Turned his back" on healthcare...

No apparent bulge from the side view...

OK check out Bush's LEFT (or right) Chest from the front... looks a bit bigger than the right side... not real clear right now...

Ok saw it again... The President's LEFT breast pocket area... hard to tell, maybe its just his checkbook.

To Bush's credit, his speech is much smoother than in the previous debates, less Bush-isms

MSNBC has more split screens than the other channels

If you are viewing the split screen coverage, note that Bush is writing while Kerry talks... more than in the last debates? I don't remember Bush writing down many points before...

He seems to watch Kerry speak, his eyes blink alot... then he writes notes.

More back shots, there doesn't appear to be a back bulge... I'm still looking at the breast pocket area, best on full screen.

Bush stumbles a bit on the Black Congressional caucus... odd... makes no sense for a moment. Again on the Faith issue

Several comments & e-mails coming in about Bush's eyes wandering, and blinking... everyone IS watching close!

Oh, here we go... some more stammering and odd words.

As the debate ends, I didn't see anything obvious that was BULGE related... The breast pocket thing isn't too convincing... Lets check out the handshaking at the end

Kerry pats Bush on the back! and on the left chest pocket area!

Anyone know who did the coverage? was it Fox again? CNBC is talking about an unfair advantage to Bush in regards to the size of the split screen.

Bush made every question out to be some kind of a joke and told Americans who lost their jobs to go get an education. What a message!
On the "wired" side, he was sure spitting out answers more quickly and I wonder why the media never showed any body shots.

Yes, the box was shown on 2 times at the end. I am 100%.

I tried wirh an ear piece to listen to a recorded tape and to have my daughter speak to me at the same time.

I had a tendency to blink as if it would make me hear the ear piece better.

He was helped out of a few jams,too..but not many. Bush's people did it better. It seems he only needs a word to jump start him, like "initiate".

ABC has Kerry 42%..Bush 41%. The black guest make the most sense to me on ABC after the debate. Will be watching NIGHTLINE.

Why is Bush always laughing? It is an attempt at derision. When these nuts get together they laugh about people who think that the world is round, or that the Earth goes round the Sun, or that evolution has shaped life on our planet. They are know-nothings, and people who know nothing must simply dismiss anything their opponents say because they have no real ideas to refute real ideas with. Name-calling and personal attacks are their stock in trade, and they depend on ridicule and slander to give the know-nothings who make up their base a sense of superiority in their own ignorance. If you want to read an excellent analysis of how the ruling class manipulates these know-nothings with religion and hot-button issues read Thomas Frank's book 'What's the matter with Kansas'. It will make everything crystal clear to you and when you are done you will ask yourself why you did not write the book yourself, it is full of such brilliant common sense.
I hope that Kerry's clear victories in all three debates translates into electoral victory. He is not perfect by a long shot, but I would rather have a long-winded person of intelligence in the Presidency that a plain-spoken (?!!!) imbecile.
